Brandon Bell is a junior who plays baseball at Edgewood High School and for the DBAT/Mustangs. Brandon rehabbed an elbow injury at TMI and has performed performance training with Nick for about 1 year. This year, he has hit 5 home runs in 8 games and is yet to give up a run (ERA 0.0). He’s hit 89 mph with his fast ball and has 38 strike outs in 23 innings pitched. Most important, Brandon no longer has any pain in his elbow and has greatly improved his consistency.
· Favorite Athlete: Jose Reyes
· Role Model: My grandpa; he is the one who played catch with me for the very first time and many times thereafter. He is the person who loves to watch me in everything I do.
· Favorite post-game food: Pizza
· My motivation: my parents because of all the training they have paid for and the time and money they’ve spent on summer ball. They always tell me I can do whatever I want if I put the work into it. I believe them, so I work hard every day.
· How TMI helped: They helped with my mechanics and elbow pain. My strength coach, Nick, works hard with me and believes in me. TMI has helped me this year to have more power, strength, and stamina. I hit the ball farther and harder than ever.
· My future plans: graduate high school and play Division I baseball. After college I hope to get drafted and work my way up to MLB. If baseball doesn’t work out I am interested in Marine Biology or the medicine.
